Staff writer Would you consider homecoming a necessary part of high school? Most people would say yes. And I would agree, not because homecoming is the most fun thing ever, but because there is a social pressure to take part in homecoming week and to have fun in high school. No one wants to be the outsider in high school, so having school spirit by going to football games and participating in homecoming activities such as the parade, paint the street, the powder puff game and the movie on the lawn, makes those who attend feel more included. |
